About the Doctoral School Day 3MG

Attendance at at least two editions of this event during your PhD is mandatory, including one participation with an oral presentation (poster or talk).

 

About this year's event

Oral presentations : If you have submitted an oral presentation and your contribution is selected, you will receive an email asking you to send your slideshow in PDF format. The program will indicate the exact time and room where your talk will take place. You will have 15 minutes to present your work, followed by 5 minutes for questions from the jury. Your presentation should be accessible to a broad audience, as participants come from different scientific backgrounds. We therefore encourage you to include a popularization component in your talk, clearly explaining the topic, your motivation for working on it, and how your research addresses the problem.

Poster presentations : If you are presenting a poster, it must be prepared in A0 portrait format. You will be able to display your poster once you have collected your badge, before the plenary sessions begin. During each break, presenters are expected to stand by their poster to discuss their work. The jury will listen to your presentation and ask questions about your research.

Prizes : At the end of the day, the jury will deliberate to award prizes for oral presentations and posters.There will be one oral presentation prize per room, as well as four poster prizes. Winners will receive FNAC gift cards worth €200.
