The annual Matter, Molecule, Materials and Geosciences (3MG) Doctoral School Day brings together PhD students and researchers specializing in chemistry, physics and geosciences from several laboratories in the Pays de la Loire region: Nantes, Angers and Le Mans.

A focus on societal challenges

This year's theme is "Science for societal challenges" - by presenting and sharing their research in thematic panels, PhD students will learn how different fields of science can address the same challenges:

  • Materials of the future
  • Low-carbon energy
  • Health and therapy
  • Understanding the Earth and the Universe
  • Environment
  • New technologies

A special emphasis will be placed on the accessibility and popularization of your research, so that it can be understood by participants from different scientific backgrounds. 10 prizes will be offered: 6 for oral presentations and 4 for posters!

You will also be able to attend plenary lectures, during which invited researchers will talk about the link between science, society and global challenges.
